CIEE JourneyThe program was developed to assist in the development of students, through engaging tools, increasing the possibilities for starting a professional career.Education is the way!The platform used in the CIEE Journey Program was developed by a renowned game company and direct consultancy for masters and teachers of mathematics, systems development and technologies.It was created to reinforce what is taught in each school year: the final years of elementary school (from 6th to 9th grade) and high school (from 1st to 3rd grades).
The contents were developed in accordance with the BNCC (essential learning) and the Basic Education Legislation in force.Start in…Math!In order to solve a gap in the world of work, which suffers from a lack of professionals in the area of ​​exact sciences, the CIEE Journey begins by focusing on Mathematics.
Thus, it aims to enhance the ability of young people to reason mathematically and master logical knowledge to boost the future of the world of work.THE GAMEThe game takes place on the island of Mátika, where people use various robots to perform their mathematical calculations.
These helpers were controlled by an artificial intelligence that one day disappeared from the system, deprogramming all the mathematical robots and causing chaos on the island.The inhabitants are not used to using mathematics and, therefore, do not know how to perform calculations.
So, the player answers the islands call for help and embarks on an adventure using mathematics to perform tasks and solve problems caused by mathematical errors while gathering clues about what happened to the artificial intelligence and how to restore it.The player controls the same character that can be customized, from the moment he enters the game until the end.Instructing Young People, Training ProfessionalsWith the CIEE Journey Program, we propose to assist in student development through engaging tools, stimulating curiosity, motivation and self-esteem.Boosting basic education for young people will increase the possibility of continuing their studies in higher education, providing a complete education to train future professionals who will take the updating and innovation needed to keep up with changes in the world of work.The ability to reason mathematically is brought into focus in a rapidly changing world driven by new technologies and trends in which citizens are creative and engaged.CIEEs intention is to promote and demystify mathematics, taking knowledge in a playful way and in daily situations to reinforce professional training with:
